Private Rib Boat Cruise
High-Speed Adventure on the Aegean
Our RIB speedboat is fast, nimble, and able to reach hidden coves, sea caves, and snorkelling spots that larger vessels simply cannot access. Zip along the Athens Riviera at speed, stopping wherever the water looks irresistible. Explore limestone caves carved into the cliffs south of Vouliagmeni, access tiny beaches only small boats can reach, and snorkel in the best underwater spots along the coast. Perfect for couples and small groups who love speed and spontaneity.
Four-Hour Riviera RIB Adventure
Departure from 1st Glyfada Marina is at 10:00 AM or 3:00 PM. The captain takes the RIB at cruising speed down the Riviera, reaching the first destination, typically the dramatic Limanakia cove system, within 30 minutes. These coves are inaccessible to large boats because of their narrow entrances and shallow waters. The RIB glides in effortlessly. You spend an hour snorkelling, swimming in turquoise water so clear you can see the seafloor 15 metres below. The boat then speeds to the next location, perhaps a sea cave you can actually enter by boat, or a tiny pebble beach where the crew sets up the paddleboard. A light snack and drinks are served between stops. The return journey allows you to feel the speed and power of the RIB as you cruise back along the coastline. Total time is approximately four hours, but the variety of locations visited and the adrenaline of high-speed travel make it feel much longer and more exhilarating.
Seven-Hour Riviera and Saronic Islands RIB Expedition
For the full-day option, departure is at 9:00 AM or 10:00 AM. The RIB covers the Riviera highlights in the morning, then continues at speed toward the Saronic Gulf islands. By lunchtime, you have covered 30+ kilometres of coast and are anchored off Aegina or a remote Saronic island. A fresh snack and drinks are served. The afternoon involves snorkelling around Moni or exploring quiet beaches on Agistri. The late afternoon return allows you to experience the RIB’s speed as you cruise back to Athens, arriving around 5:00 PM or 6:00 PM feeling exhilarated.
Why RIB Boating Is Different
The speed creates genuine excitement, you feel the power of the engines and the responsiveness of the boat. The small size allows access to places larger boats cannot reach. The crew is typically younger, more adventurous, and creates an energetic, fun atmosphere. For guests who find catamaran or motor yacht sailing too relaxed, a RIB cruise offers a completely different tone: action, adventure, and adrenaline.
Safety and Comfort
Despite the speed and adventure, RIB boating is safe. All guests wear personal flotation devices, the boat is equipped with modern navigation and safety equipment, and our skippers are experienced and certified. The boat has a cabin that provides some shelter, though most guests prefer to be on the exposed deck where they can feel the speed and see the approaching coastline. Sunscreen and a rash guard (for wind and sun exposure) are recommended.
Included Features
RIB speedboat, experienced skipper, safety equipment, light snacks and drinks, snorkelling equipment, towels. Not included: meal service (on the 7-hour trip, we recommend arranging lunch ashore if desired), crew gratuities. The experience accommodates 4 to 6 guests maximum, ensuring comfort and intimacy. Bring swimwear, sunscreen, water shoes, and a sense of adventure.
Why Choose Us
Our RIB skippers are experienced in high-speed coastal navigation and expert at reading sea conditions to find the calmest, most beautiful spots. They understand the psychology of adventure, they deliver genuine adrenaline and excitement while maintaining uncompromising safety standards. Our RIBs are regularly maintained, equipped with modern navigation technology, and supplied with multiple safety systems. We know every cave, beach, and hidden cove along the Riviera and which spots are best depending on wind and sea conditions. Our crew creates an energetic, fun atmosphere that transforms a boat trip into a genuine adventure. We’re happy to discuss any concerns about speed or safety before your departure.
What To Bring
Bring swimwear and protective eyewear (sunglasses that strap on). Bring sunscreen SPF 50+ because the RIB offers no shade and UV exposure is intense. Bring a rash guard or water shirt to protect against wind and sun. Bring a waterproof bag for your phone and camera. Bring water shoes with good grip. Bring any medications you take regularly and seasickness remedies if you’re concerned (though RIB motion is different from larger boats). Consider bringing an underwater camera or GoPro to capture snorkelling moments, and bring a sense of adventure and willingness to embrace speed.
Best Time To Book
Calm-weather days are essential for RIB boating, so flexible scheduling helps. May through October offers the most reliable conditions. June and September give you ideal combinations of calm seas, warm water, and stable weather. Book 4-6 weeks in advance for your preferred date, and monitor weather forecasts closely as we may reschedule if conditions are unsuitable. Early morning departures often offer calmer sea conditions than afternoon ones. Avoid booking during strong wind warnings or rough sea forecasts.

Plan Your Visit
You’ll arrive at Glyfada Marina 30 minutes before departure. The skipper will brief you on safety, explain where the life jacket fasteners are, and discuss any concerns about speed or motion. As the RIB departs and accelerates along the coast, the adrenaline kicks in, you feel the wind, the spray of sea water, and the power of engines responding instantly to the skipper’s commands. Within 20-30 minutes, you’ll reach the first destination, perhaps a dramatic sea cave you can actually enter, or a hidden beach reachable only by small boat. After 30-45 minutes of swimming and snorkelling, the RIB speeds to the next location. On the 4-hour trip, you’ll visit 3-4 distinct locations, with the final return journey emphasizing speed and coastal beauty. On the 7-hour trip, you’ll cover significantly more distance, potentially reaching the Saronic islands by midday, lunch ashore, and continued island exploration before the speedy return journey.
