The Route

The route follows the Riviera south from Glyfada, with the captain choosing the best swimming stops based on conditions. Your first stop might be the crystal-clear waters off Vouliagmeni, known for exceptional visibility and a stunning rocky backdrop. The second stop could be further south near Varkiza, in a remote cove reachable only by boat. Between stops, you cruise past Limanakia’s dramatic cliffs and the upscale waterfront of Voula, creating an impressive coastal journey.

What to Expect

Boarding occurs at 1st Glyfada Marina at 10:00 AM or 3:30 PM. After a safety briefing, the yacht departs. The first hour is pure cruising, you relax on the flybridge or in the saloon while the boat powers south along the coast. At the first swimming stop, the crew distributes snorkelling equipment and serves chilled drinks. At the second stop, approximately two hours later, lunch is served on the aft deck, fresh grilled fish, salads, local wine, and Greek desserts. You have multiple hours of swimming and snorkelling, punctuated by meals and drinks.

June through September offers the warmest water and most reliable sunshine. May and early October give you excellent conditions with fewer international crowds. June and September are particularly beautiful with perfect temperatures and the longest sailing hours before sunset. Clear-weather forecasts are important, so monitor weather and be prepared to reschedule if conditions are undesirable.

You’ll arrive at the Glyfada Marina where the captain welcomes you personally and offers a boat orientation, highlighting the saloon, flybridge, cabin facilities, and safety features. As the yacht departs, champagne and fresh pastries are served while the boat motors past the first Riviera coves. Your first swimming stop includes snorkelling time, light refreshments, and time to explore the water. 

The captain then motors to a more remote location for lunch, typically fresh fish or seafood, salads, and local wines served in the elegant saloon or on the aft deck depending on weather and your preference. Afternoon brings a second or third swimming stop, followed by a leisurely return toward Glyfada, with the captain adjusting the itinerary based on your energy and wishes. The experience concludes with sunset views as you return to port around 6 or 7 PM.
